Mini Floral Jars

Michael's was having a 50% off sale in several of its departments this weekend. And, since I had an additional 20% off coupon for the entire purchase, I decided to stock up. Whenever I visit Michael's, I head straight to the clearance aisle, which is usually towards the back of the store. On clearance, I found these mini jars for 79 cents a piece. So, I grabbed all six of them. Then, I headed to the floral section and found white, mini flowers, by Ashland. Whenever I choose white flowers for a vase or jar, I try to find a colorful filler that will add that pop of color, but still compliments the flower. That said, I selected one package of Ashland blue sand, which is enough to fill all six, mini jars.

Next, I picked a part the flowers (from the bush), and alotted 10 stems (with flowers attached) per jar, as seen in the photo to the right. Then, pour the sand into each jar (about 3/4 full), and place each stem gently into the sand. Add all 10 stems until you have a simple, floral arrangement, like so.
