Elevated Walnut Centerpiece

In reference to my previous post, I wanted to show another option for a rustic, wooden centerpiece. Both of these pieces are adaptable for any occasion, no matter if it's indoors or outdoors. It can be used as a garnish for any dining table, or be the focal point at any country, farm-like wedding. As with the other post, I created this centerpiece using Basswood products for under $20. And of course, all these items can be found at your local Michael's.

You will need the following items (as seen in the picture above):

(1) Walnut Hollow Basswood Country Round

(1) Birch Round, by ArtMinds (5" in diameter, 1" in height)

(1) Elmer's Wood Glue Max

Step 1: Glue one side of the Birch Round, and apply to the Walnut Basswood Round. And Let dry. This will be the bottom of your rustic centerpiece.

Step 2: Once dry, turn over. You're now ready to decorate.

To emphasize the color & grain of the display's natural character, I placed (2) accent candles around a medium-sized, central candle. Then, I surrounded the candles with earth-tone rocks. Together, the candles & rocks reflect a similar, color pallet, in reference to the display.
